Stephan Faris - Global Climate Change Correspondent

Stephan Faris will cover climate change for GlobalPost. Faris is the author of "Forecast: The Consequences of Climate Change, from the Amazon to the Arctic, from Darfur to Napa Valley." As a journalist who specializes in writing about the developing world, he has covered Africa, the Middle East and China for publications including Time, Fortune, the Atlantic, the New York Times Magazine, and Salon. He has lived in Nigeria, Kenya, Turkey and China. In 2003, he covered the invasion of Iraq for the New York Daily News and returned a year later for TIME magazine. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona's department of optical engineering and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
