Matthew Driskill - Regional Editor for Asia and Hong Kong Correspondent
Matthew C. Driskill will serve as GlobalPost Regional Editor for Asia. He will also cover political, economic and social issues as a correspondent in Hong Kong. Driskill is an award-winning journalist, photographer, multimedia producer and university lecturer who has lived and worked throughout Asia and Europe since 1989. He has served as editor of Business Asia, a daily section published by the International Herald Tribune with Bloomberg News. Prior to joining the IHT, Driskill served as managing editor for IQ Magazine, a quarterly review of business research published by the French global business and management school, INSEAD. Driskill has been a frequent visiting lecturer at Hong Kong University, the American University in Paris and Oklahoma City University. He has received awards from the Associated Press for investigative reporting and business writing and, in 2004-2005, served as president of the Foreign Correspondents Club of Hong Kong.
