William Connors will be the GlobalPost Correspondent in Nigeria. Connors lived in Ethiopia for two years and has worked from Kenya, Djibouti and the Democratic Republic of Congo. He spent the past year in Nigeria writing for the New York Times, Slate, Time.com and Esquire.com, among other publications. Connors is based in Lagos, Nigeria's commercial and cultural capital, the largest city in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the fastest growing city in the world. Connors was born and raised in Sugar Hill, NH, and is a graduate of the University of Chicago.
