Jiyeon Lee  - GlobalPost Correspondent in South Korea

Jiyeon Lee will cover South Korea for GlobalPost. Ms. Lee has worked as a journalist in Seoul since 2003 for the foreign media, covering issues ranging from information and technology to North Korea. As a native Korean speaker, she has produced for CNN International's Seoul office, which included working on major projects such as "Eye on South Korea." Ms. Lee has also freelanced for NPR and worked on documentaries with National Geographic Explorer. Having lived in Korea for most of her life, Ms. Lee will be examining ongoing changes in the country as it deals with its neighboring North Korea and tries to establish itself as one of Asia's largest economies. She has a master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
